With this awesome event right around the corner, Coach Seth connected with one of our most faithful partners, Tim Brown, during the FSL Radio Show on 95.3MNC.
Tim has been a part of the Golf Open for years and has brought some amazing friends with him, including: Eddie George, Doug Flutie, Coach Lou Holtz, Rocket Ismail, Marcus Allen, and Tony Dorsett… just to name a few! These wonderful people have given their time freely to be a part of something bigger than themselves – helping students realize their future by challenging them to own their success!
Tim has always been a FSL supporter because, as he would say, he was a Five Star kid. “I was the kid who needed these types of instructions and 
was fortunate enough to receive them at the correct time, helping me move forward in a positive way. With many of the kids I’ve met in the Five Star program, they’re just regular kids that need more guidance and attention and we don’t want them to slip through the cracks.”
Every year for the past twelve years, we have consistently delivered our Core Values (respect, responsibility, integrity, sacrifice, and courage) to schools nationwide. As Tim travels across the country, he sees the immediate need for FSL in schools and communities. Students are hurting and in need of something more… something to push them, someone to guide them, somewhere to turn to. Tim has been an advocate for FSL, working to get FSL in schools that need it the most. “If it wasn’t for the grace of God, I wouldn’t be in the situation I’m in now, so from that standpoint it’s built in me to give back. It’s not an obligation for me.”
