2015 Highlights!

We couldn’t be more proud of where we are today! Here are just a few of the highlights from this remarkable year:

• Our innovative video curriculum has SKYROCKETED and the students are winning and succeeding. Last year, the video curriculum was so effective that additional area schools contracted with FSL to bring the video curriculum to the ENTIRE student body during the school day. In one of the pilot schools, administration found that their school had over 5,000 LESS disciplinary referrals than the previous academic year! Because of that success, the district asked FSL to pilot with one of their high schools last year, and is now adding the video curriculum starting in 6th grade all the way to 12th grade. Because of the explosion of the video curriculum, FSL was able to have ongoing impact with over 3,400 students!

• If you haven’t checked out our new camp and leadership training center yet, you need to! Summit is the FUTURE of FSL! The transformations at Summit in such a short amount of time are INCREDIBLE. We hosted our first Summit Life Leadership Camps with great success. Fears were conquered on the ropes course, relationships were developed around the campfire, and lives were forever changed throughout this transformative week.

• The FSL Radiothon with 95.3 MNC raised nearly $200,000 for programming in Michiana, impacting almost 900 students!

• The Five Star Golf Open raised over $55,000. We were thrilled to be joined by Hall of Famer and Heisman Trophy Winner, Tim Brown, and the legendary University of Notre Dame great, Coach Lou Holtz. Both Tim and Coach Lou were gracious guests that brought an electric feel to the Golf Open through their energy and through their commitment to serving students. While coaching Tim at Notre Dame, Coach Lou instilled values in Tim that have carried him throughout his entire life, and Tim is determined to give students the same chance at success that he was given. A huge thanks to both of these great men for taking the time to join us.

• We have our own Radio Show! That’s right, each week, we are given the opportunity to share stories, host guests, and talk about relevant issues for teens and their parents.
