North Side Middle School
3 Ways to help your student live a Five Star Life!
1 – Curriculum follow-up: Our Curriculum theme for this year is “Love Your Life”.
You can help your student live a Five Star Life by downloading a curriculum
hand-out so you can follow-up and discuss what they’re learning each week.
This is a great resource that has the potential to enrich your parent-student
relationship.
2 – Day-Trips: Sign your student up to attend a day-trip where they’ll be
challenged and inspired.
3 – Awards Night: Students don’t always show it but it’s a BIG DEAL when
parents show up to support their students on the final night of each eight-week
season. We’ll have a brief informational meeting for parents before passing out
student awards. You’ll also get to meet your students coach and team.
Meet the Five Star Head Coach John Lubbers
This is going to be a great year at North
Side Middle School! I will be the
Head Coach at your school. Coaching
middle school students and seeing
them take great steps in developing
character and becoming strong leaders
is very important to me. I love
challenging students and encouraging them to live to their
highest potential. Here at Five Star, we believe that every
student matters and we will do everything we can to
communicate that to our students. My team and I have
recruited top-notch volunteers from the community to help
coach our students. We personally interview, screen and run
background checks on each volunteer before assimilating
them into the Five Star training program.
Please call the office 574-266-4038 or email me directly at
jlubbers@fivestarlife.org if you have any questions about the
program, forms or events. Thanks!
